I was born in Menorca, at the beginning of the eighties, in a hospital with magnificent views on the harbour of Maó. I lived in Menorca, Barcelona, Lausanne and Toulouse, where I'm living now.
He viscut a Menorca, Barcelona, Lausana i Tolosa de Llenguadoc, on visc en aquests moments.

I'm a graduate student at the Centre National de Recherches Météorologiques - Météo France.
I'm working on the SIM model, this is, an hydrological suite which simulates the main hydrological processes at the scale of France, including river discharges on arround 900 gauging stations. SIM is the result of the coupling of Météo-France's surface scheme with the hydrometeorological model MODCOU.
My area of interest is the Mediterranean region of France. This region is challenging, due to its climate, which is more variable than the climate on the rest of France, its distinctive vegetation and its geology (presence of karst in some areas).
The objective of my first study was to assess the performance of the SAFRAN analysis on France with a special focus on the Mediterranean region. SAFRAN produces an analysis of near surface (2m) meteorological variables (temperature, precipitation, humidity,...) at a resolution of 8km and at a time step of 1h. This analysis is available for a period of 35 years that starts on 1970. The study, showed that SAFRAN is robust, even though on the mediterranean region its performance is lesser due to the higher variability of the meteorological processes.
Afterwords, I worked on the improvement and calibration of the SIM model. I introduced a parameterization of hydraulic conductivity at saturation and tackled the problem of the calibration of its two parameters at the scale of France. The results show a great improvement of the performance of the model.
At this very moment, I'm working on the study of the impact of climate change on the hydrology of the region. My focus is on metodology. I'm trying to understand which is the uncertainty of different downscaling methods and how this uncertainty propagates to the outputs of the hydrological model, like river discharge.
Així, vaig comença a navegar als 15 anys i a utilitzar GNU/Linux als 17.
